AI Club

Two rooms, plus a membership. If your glasses cannot be repaired, club members get a replacement from club stock. That loss is included in the club fee. It is not insurance. Club rules say who qualifies.
Bulletin board
Ask questions, list something for sale, post a wanted ad, or offer a trade. Invite code required to post. We are the venue, not the other party to a private sale.
Invite-only opening
The first month is people we already know from the shop, workshop, and suppliers. Public signup waits until the spam pattern is visible.

We inspect and say whether repair, manufacturer return, or a stop is honest. Replacement is for when repair is not possible.

Members get a working pair from what the club holds. Same class where we can. Not cash, and not a brand-new upgrade on demand.

Board posting
Posts need a real name or a stable handle, a working email, and an invite code. The first month is invite-only. Public signup waits until we have seen how spam arrives.
Classifieds
Private sale, own photos, location (NL or ZA), sold as seen. Do not claim manufacturer warranty unless you can show it. No stolen goods. A listing does not imply we will repair or replace the item.

For members, and only after workshop diagnosis says the glasses cannot be repaired. From club stock, under fair-use rules. Not insurance, not cash, not a private-sale guarantee.
Moderation
Illegal, unsafe, or bait-and-switch posts come down. That is a daily five-minute job for us, not a product feature.
